What a difference a year makes. MLS on OMDREB for December 2008 only ended with an $84 Million dollar volume of sales, compared to December 2009 of $182 Million...WOW! In December 1999, the Canadian dollar was worth 69 cents U.S. and in December 2009 it was worth 95 cents U.S. In December 1999 a 5 year G.I.C. paid 5.48% , in December 2009 only 1.88%. In 1999 the average resale price of a home n the G.T.A. was $228,372 and in 2009 it was $394,464 up 73%. That's impressive. 2010 will be a great year for real estate. Let's talk. Call me anytime.
